Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. She is also the older sister of an earlier UFC Flyweight champion and co- UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sporting career by becoming an Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and beat Suzane Miller in the finals by a the unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko won an additional medal in the year 2007, a bronze in 2008, and a gold in the year 2011, and then was named the IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia's professional debut came in 2003. She won in 2012 the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC World Championships. Antonina last fought against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was with a majority. Antonina Schevchenko set her professional MMA records in 2002 when she took on Anara Bazanova during the KFK Championship of Kyrgystan. She won via second-round TKO followed by 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko stopped fighting to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko had the chance to beat Anissa with a unanimous verdict and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11.
